Why does Google always think they arr above the law? Since 2012, by law, all upgrades must list, with YES & NO approval boxes of every Removal, addition, upgrade, because not doing so insults the established users by removing or changing things they use daily. My latest pet pive is that since Gen Z does not punctuate, no one needs it, But I always use punctuation on every email, every TXT & every thing because 95% of my correspondence is L<EGAL & that must have punctuation 100% of the time.

How dare they assume we don't need this!

Welcome to Android Central forums. This doesn't seem like a question and while I was unaware of any of this, doesn't really hit my radar, but I dropped this into chatgpt that suggested these actions if these things really bother you.

✅ What Can You Do?

  • Use Feedback Tools: As weak as it sounds, leaving feedback (especially from a legal-use standpoint) through official Google channels does register, especially if enough users voice it.
  • Switch Services (When Possible): Sometimes using alternatives (like ProtonMail, or AI-assisted writing tools that let you configure tone strictly) gives you more control.
  • Custom Settings: Many Google products allow for some customization. For example, Gboard settings can let you turn punctuation suggestions back on (or off).
  • Raise Awareness: You're already doing that — conversations like this matter.

Good luck.
