Need help finding phone under 300

I currently have a moto g power but looking at getting a new phone. Wanting a rugged phone that is comparable to the moto but faster and better camera. I use it for cricket. I've looked at the Doogee phones but dk if they will work.

Which Moto G Power do you have?

Not sure if they're rugged enough for you, as they have a plastic frame and back (like the Moto G's), or if the camera is much better, but you might keep an eye out for an A54 5G, that you could put a rugged-looking, protective case on. The display is definitely better, and the test scores are decent, but 'faster' I guess would depend on which Moto G Power you have.

We purchased one [at $329.] for a family member, in late Sept 2023. So another/or future sale price may be the same or lower.
