Need Help/How do I access the file storage on my nexus 5 I have looked everywhere for it but can't s

So you mean you tried a file manager app (ES file explorer as an example) and when you opened it, nothing happened? That would be interesting given that a file manager app shows the file system.

No I didn't try a file system I opened my dropbox app and tapped on a photo that I wanted to export to my photo gallery so I have all kinds of options and I tap on save to SD card and it opens up a somewhere with a bunch of folders that you can check where to put the photo dcim, download, etc at the top it says internal as in storage I would guess but when I try to find this place on my phone I can't find it nowhere on other android device's you have an file app that you can access do I have to download a file access app?

Yes just download an app. I don't believe stock android includes one. I'm actually surprised you didn't even try to download one. Simple enough.

Try Astro File Manager. It's free and works well.

Also consider using more periods and commas when you type. It makes reading your post so much easier.
