Need help is this right ?

Got a feeling my note 4 is not right ?

Seems to be doing a few weird things
First off is this a Samsung thing ?
When I open messaging it only opens the last thread I messaged to a contact .
My previous Htc one xl opened at the main messaging home screen .

Another annoying thing sometime s It opens email in search and not in Inbox .

It does quite a few weird things , should I take the phone back or try a factory reset ?

I'm not sure what you're asking in reference to your email, but I use 9mail with my exchange service and it works great.

As far as your texting app opening to your last thread or to the main text window, how are you closing the app? Are you sure you are closing it or just minimizing it? If you hit the home key to get out of the texting app, it is being minimized so it's ready to go back to where you were before. If you open recent apps and swipe it off the screen, it will completely close and should open to the main window the next time it's open.
