Need help...Pictures won't rotate

Need help. I recently had to get a replacement for my droid x, but now when I look at pictures I can't get them to rotate. For example a picture taken in landscape is only visible as portrait and thus smaller. any ideas?

This is going to sound obvious or stupid but here we go. Taking pictures in landscape may look like its only coming out in portrait and small if you are holding the phone in portrait. But if you rotate the phone, it will go to landscape and be a larger picture (the size of the screen).

lol...no, I guess I should have said that I have tried to turn the phone but nothing happens. It seems like the auto-rotate is "broken"? I don't know how else to put it.

I figured that wasn't the problem but I would check to see if the "auto-rotate screen" is on by going to settings..then display.. then see if the auto rotate screen is checked.

duh...I feel dumb now. I thought I had checked that. thanks though.

My picture won't rotate. It did a few days ago, and then it just stopped. I checked in the settings to make sure the Auto-Rotate was checked, and it is, but still nothing will rotate...any suggestions.

Take the battery out,and then reinsert it, let the phone reboot and see if that works.
