Need help please with jelly beans tether

I have download Jelly beans Build 20 and I have noticed that everytime I use the hotspot it's not free tethering because it's going against my data plan. Is this because I have Verizon shared plan or am I doing something wrong? Please help???? Thanks

It is supposed to use your data, nothing is wrong. It basically makes it free to use for customers still on unlimited data. If you are on a tiered data plan it is already free too use without root. Its normally an extra $20-$30 a month for unlimited data users.

If you are on share plan it will use your data because they sllow tethering. It sucks.
