I wanted to get an app and it needed root access. I went to Youtube and it didn't look too difficult, so I did it. It worked fine, I thought, till I started noticing a few of my apps not working (especially my banking app).
I want to unroot. The same guy who's video I followed to root, has an unroot video. Unfortunately, the one stage is to drop a file into a folder on your phone. I cannot access this folder. Google is not helpful here. When I open Windows Explorer and the phone, it shows me the music and photo library. I have looked at every option on my phone, I can't change it to usb mode (the way you used to be able to do). so now I can't follow these steps to unroot.
I have the international version.
Please guys. Can anyone help a total noob (and yes I won't root ever ever again
). Please step by step instructions would be highly appreciated. And yes, I have been to XDA, but that forum is meant for people that knows their stuff and they tell you you shouldn't root if you don't understand rooting. I know and I appreciate that. But now I need help. So Pretty please help.
