need help rooting

What do you mean "Flash" the Mod?

The link above in post#55 is a mod file that you should flash from your custom recovery to fix the market issue.

yes I wiped the cache before I did the Mod

If you need/want more internal app storage space, install Team Hydros Dalvik2Dev MOD via recovery.

getting more space is cool and all, and I did flash the ROM, but my problem is with the market

when I search an app, I get a "timed out" error and a "connection timed out" error and then a "no connection"

click on retry and it works.......and apps seem to download at a much slower pace now, anyone have this or heard of this issue?

phone is working well with the HydroROM, Im loving it

but when I turn the wireless tether on, it works, my laptop sees and connects to it, my brothers iphone sees and connects, but androids wont see it, my friends sprint droid and my sisters AT&T dont see it, I was hoping to get my J10 Flytouch android tablet to connect to it, but it doesnt see it either, has anyone had this issue before?

I believe you need an infrastructure mode instead of an adhoc mode that is the common stable method used. There are ways to get an infrastructure connection, but you gain forced reboot issues.

just doesnt make any sense why "other" electronics will see it and connect to it, but ANDROIDS dont even see it....

Most android distributions cannot see ad-hoc networks. The wifi tether you ran is using ad-hoc mode.

PCs and iPhones can usually see both infrastructure and ad-hoc networks.

before rooting and upgrading the ROM, the battery would last almost 2 days with regular use,
now that its rooted and has HydroROM, the batter dies in about 3 to 4 hours.

Is that normal? is there something I can do to change that? I havent made any changes with Apps and stuff running in the background, so there should not be that big of a jump.

just curious if anyone else is or has had this issue.

It might be an OC'd issue... I am on ZVD baseband; you are on ZVH so I don't know A LOT about HydroROM for ZVH, but I think that it just might be OC'd and the ROM is using more battery...

Also, is 3G, GPS, Wifi, or Network Location on? When you flash a ROM, the GPS is generally on when you boot and you have to turn it off (that's what CM does anyways...)

I think it might be one of those two things.
