Need help setting up sound and visual notifications

new s6 edge+ and having trouble setting it up the way I want. When I get an e-mail (Yahoo! or Gmail) I want to see it up top on the notification line. I don't want to hear any sounds. When I get a text or other alert I DO want to both see a notification AND hear my chirp. No matter how I set it up in settings it seems as though I always get the visual notification (that's good) , but I either get sounds for everything or no sounds for everything. I can't split the sounds for just texts and alerts and no sound for email. Anyone run into this and find a way to do it? Thanks in advance, Art

Open your Email app, tap Menu>Settings, select the email account in question, and look for the notification options there. You should be able to change the notification tone to Silent or None.
