Need Help Updating after root

I'm going to try to put all the information down that you will need to help me, so this might be a little long.
I have a samsung galaxy s3 , Straight Talk version and straight talk will not let the KitKat update be used. I rooted my phone..is there any way that I can update my straight talk samsung galaxy s3 to KitKat? Straight talk has basically said flat out that they will not allow any OTA updates on their phones.

Once you are rooted, you are usually no longer allowed to accept OTA updates. Even if you did, root would most likely be broken, or a bricked device may happen.

You can try flashing a custom ROM that is TouchWiz based.
