Need help with a sticky touchscreen.

Hello all,

So yea like the title says i have a sticky toucscreen(m8) i don't know if it's just my fingers or the touchscreen itself and i don't know what to do anymore. When i use my knuckles i don't have this problem at all.

Is it a good idea to use alchohol 70% to clean the screen with a microfibre cloth?

Or should i just buy a screen protector?

Welcome to Android Central! Rubbing alcohol should be fine to use. Just dampen a soft cloth with it (don't make it overly wet), and rub the screen gently. The alcohol should evaporate on its own, but you can also use a dry microfiber cloth to continue buffing the screen. That ought to remove any residue that might have accumulated.
