Need help with App Management

In Applications through settings on my TF101, when I go to a specific app to try to clear cache and/or wipe data when attempting to solve the ICS "fix" problems (will they push out a fix for the fix soon?), I get the data and cache "Computing" message. But it never finishes computing and consequently I cannot clear cache/data on applications, which I suspect is what will solve a couple of my most annoying problems. I've tried a couple of apps also and they do the same thing - never finish "analyzing" or gathering the data or whatever it is.
Anyone else experience this? Anybody know how to resolve or work-around without going through the Applications setting and/or landing in the same spot?
