hey can you guys please tell me is there a way to customise the drop down menu or what ever its called notification bar maybe?i want it to be like the one on galaxy note with all those shorcuts to wifi, bluetooth, gps and etc?.
plus i want to know is there a way to make the application menu a bit transparent more of a translucent type with out changing any thing else in the appearance
and please give me the complete details as i have just switched from nokia n 8.

If you will tap on the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the notification view it will display most of the shortcuts you are looking for.

Without switching to a different launcher app, I am not sure you are going to get where you want to go with the application menu transparency.

The good news is that you have come to the right place looking for answers. If it can be done...the Guru's here will be able to tell you how.

There is a widget on your HTC One X called "Power Control". Add this widget to one of your screens. It will give you direct access to WiFi, BT, Location services, Sync & Brightness.

Play Store my friend.

SwitchPro Widget. Best money you'll spend for a power control widget. It has an option to put the "widget" in the notification drop-down menu like you want. Also has many other great features like task and timer settings.
