Need help with new Handbrake

Found download for 9.3, it is working. 9.4 has some sort of problem if so many are having trouble....

Glad you found. I looked briefly but and it would say 0.9.3 and then you click it, it takes you to a 0.9.4 link.

I went with Pro instead of Platinum. I did three movies last night, but only watched one so far and it was kinda jerky on the pc. Have not watched it on the Incredible yet.

Well, that was a waste of my money! The 3 minute free sample with the trial version seemed fine but the paid version sucks. The video is choppy, very stop n go like... maybe someone knows better settings for Wondershare Pro for use on the Incredible ?

I have Handbrake working again, but it takes hours...

Handbrake and DVDfab are the only ones I use for ripping DVD to my phone. you could just rip it to a .avi or .wma format and convert them to a .mp4 .3gpp format but that will take time as well.

What settings do you have your computer set at to convert so fast with HandBrake? Mine takes hours...

iPhone/iPod Touch settings on HB. It depends on your computer. It usually takes me about an 30 mins to an hour for a movie. I have a i5 2.27ghz, 4gb ram, nvidia 310m gpu.

Also Handbrake does take up a lot of power so I usually just surf the internet and let handbrake do it's thing or walk away from the computer when it's converting.

Are you doing other things in the background? Slow DVD Drive?

About 30 minutes for IronMan dvd

The dvd rip process is fast. It takes a few hours for Handbrake to do the conversion....sometimes as long as 6!

So your taking the image of the DVD right? Then using some sort of virtual drive to read the image file and using handbrake to convert it? Or am I missing something.

DVDFab rips the video and put the Video_TS file on the laptop, then I use that file to convert to mp4.

Ah I see. Just use handbrake and don't rip it with dvdfab. Handrake will take it from the DVD itself.

Strange your having problems with wondershare...like you said you might just need to tweak the settings but its pretty much user friendly to begin with. One of the first movies I did was ironman2...one regular copy and one sized for the Droid. Both look, sound and play amazing.

Could you check your settings for me? I picked the Incredible out of the type to convert to...but there are settings you can change even for it...could you tel lme all your settings?
