So I have an old viera TX-32LX70C and an onkyo HT-R390. The viera has two hdmi ports and one of them is connected to the set top box. The other HDMI port has the chromecast device. The audio plays on the TV along with the video. The setup this way works absolutely fine.

My issue is that I would like to have audio coming through the Home theater. I am attaching the pictures of the back of the TV and the Onkyo. Would love to have someone help me out on routing the audio from the TV to the home theatre.

Appreciate any responses and will try to answer all questions...

Oh well...
I did a bit of work and I am now connected...

I connected the chromecast to the game port on the HTIB and the HDMI out port on the Onkyo to the TV.

Had to reinstall the chromecast app and reconnect my YouTube app...

All set... and no help needed right now... Thanks everyone

Is there a reason you just don't have it connnected to an HDMI port on your receiver?
