I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the thunderbolt sound when my phone starts up?? Also does anyone else have the problem of their phone taking forever to boot up??

Are you rooted?

before you reboot or power off, turn the ringer down to silent... other than that, I was never able to figure it out other than by rooting.

Turn down the volume and then reboot.

Also, if you are rooted, you can download the bootup animations without sound....I know BAMF's are like that I think or maybe it is MikMik (Gingerits 3D).

Also, if you want a fastboot.....go into:

Menu --> Setting --> Power --> Fastboot

The problem is that with that, it is tricky to get into RECOVERY (again, if you are rooted). But, you can always go in and uncheck FASTBOOT.

Fastboot will get you booted up in about 30 seconds or less!

True...but if u want a fast boot....that's the trade off I guess...I don't use it....I don't mind if it takes 3 mins. To boot up
