Phone keeps rejecting sd card. Says it's empty. I've tried to format it but it sticks on the pop up (erasing sd card). Anybody know wats up?

It could be defective. I suggest trying a new one. They can go defective. It has happened to mine

Alot of times an sd card will go bad by the heating of the phone causing the card to go bad. I have found that often times the sd card if its a 32mb card will be the first to go because of the amount of room that is available on the card and the speed reading properties set by the phone to read its available space.

1) android has its own thermal control built into it. if a phone gets warm enough to where its damaging internals it shuts off (same as any computer). so your claims of a phone heating itself to burn the sdcard are baseless.

2) im going to assume you meant 32gb's. again another baseless claim, each device has their own limits on what they can or cannot support, android itself supports theoretically up to 2TB's.

if you want to answer questions and play support thats great, please respond with informed answers and not just what sounds good.
