Looks like my phone has crashed!! Any advice or suggestions. I have the Sprint Hero non-rooted. When I power on the phone I get several force close messages. The last says process com.android.phone has stopped.
My widgets load as well as the home screens but nothing works.

Hope to get it solved quickly.

Thanks
Mark

Same thing happened to mine-out of nowhere really. I had to reset my phone (turned it off then ,powered back on holding down the home and back button as I powered it on.) Luckily I had downloaded wavessecure from the market so It backed up all my stuff. So if you reset though you might lose all your stuff, contacts, etc. You'd have to take it in to the Sprint store so they can at least save your contacts.

heard of this before .......by chance do you happen to have alot of apps ....seams like there is a 70 app limit on some phones and once you pass that limit and reboot your phone force closes start pouring in

Thanks for the response. Ended up doing a factory reset. Lost everything except for my google contacts. Phone has been fine since early afternoon.
I only have about 30 apps on my phone, well I did still in the process of downloading stuff.
Have to take a look at wavessecure.
I did take it to the Best Buy where I bought the phone. The rep used the term "glitching", almost like it happens a lot. UGH hope not so far a great phone.
Thanks again

Have had mine since the Best Buy Pre-release and never experienced this. The good thing is when you go back into the market all your downloads will be there based on your g-mail id.

I would load the applications back on one at a time incase of them is causing the problem. With Android there really is no risk of losing your phones data as it's all stored with Google.

be careful with wavessecure every text it send to you will cost becasue they come in from over sea's (internationa texting rates do apply) try LOOKOUT
