NEED: Simple Holster WITHOUT Case Requiement

Does ANYONE offer a simple, snap-in, inward-facing holster with a swiveling belt-clip for the Galaxy Nexus that does not require a case? All of the holster-case combos I've been seeing end up making this lightweight, super-thin phone into a bulky and heavier brick. Also, if you have to wrap the phone in a case to use the holster, then you have to remove it from the case to use a cradle. If you know of a simple holster that works, please post the info here. THANKS!

I'm looking for the same thing. I've used Seidio's holster with another phone and it's been perfect. I just spoke with someone in their customer service group and was told they don't have any plans to release one for the Galaxy Nexus. The have one that works with their "SURFACE" case, but I would prefer not to use a case. If you find something, please post info here.

Why not use a leather belt pouch?

I don't want a leather pouch for the same reason I don't want a case; it adds too much bulk to the phone when attached to my belt. Also (having had one for an older phone), I find that pouches don't provide the ease of access that a simple snap-in holster provides. When I pressed the release tab on my prior holster (for my original Droid), the phone was in my palm instantly.

This is a great sales opportunity for some plastics manufacturer. There are already several thousands of Galaxy Nexus' out there and probably many more on there way, and I would guess that many of those owners would like this kind of holster.

Seidio almost always releases a "naked" holster option. Can't imagine they won't. For now I ordered an Active combo from them and will go commando once they release a naked holster and Steinheil releases an updated screen guard.

This phone is just to gorgeous to not go naked. I'd buy a regular holster if someone made one, especially seidio. I've used their surface cases/holster in past but don't like a case on this thing.

I also vote for one. I have a Blackberry that I have to use for work so most of the time it is on my hip and my Nexus is in my front pocket. Off work I only carry one phone so the BB gets forwarded to the Nexus. I prefer to wear my main phone on my belt but I never like to use a case. I really like the slide in holster however they always seem to require a case to work.

I used to be a huge fan of the Seidio case however after bumping the clip and shattering my Evo twice. Since then I have not used a Seidio. So I really want a slide in holster that does not require a case.

How the hell did that happen...!! I came in here looking at reviews and opionions on phone cases and pouches for my Gnex and just walked away purchasing 7 gun holsters because of that video....and I dont even own a gun...!!

Actually, I have seen here before on alot of holster reviews...the body is nice, but the helmet is a little rough....

Oh...and I do own a gun...and a new computer monitor ...lol...

I am in need of one of these myself...purchasing my GNex on saturday and would love a "naked" holster just like i had on my TBolt. The case in the holster thing makes the phone so bulky! might have to settle for a thick leather pouch for now

I had the Seidio holster without a case for my Nexus One and it was perfect. I called Seidio about them offering one for the GNex and it was almost like she had some personal knowledge she was going to share and then stopped and said they don't have anything like that in stock. I don't think Seidio will ever offer one without a case. I can't believe no other company makes one!

i asked seidio for the naked holster when the rezound came out and they said they weren't making those anymore which sucks, I had one with my thunderbolt and incredible.

late post but seidio does indeed make one but it's way over priced as usual at 26.00
