So I just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon do to a break up and I went with Verizon for the turbo I love it bit man I really need help with my data I first went with 4 gigs and jumped to 6gigs my question is how much data do all of you have on your plans and is it enough debating on jumping up again lol thanks in advance

I'm on a 1 gig plan but maybe only use 400MB a month. I use Wi-Fi whenever I can and don't stream music or videos, etc. I think I'm the exception rather than the norm for smart phone data usage, lol.

We share a 4 GB plan among 4 phones (it's actually 5 GB as we have a promotional deal for one year).

We routinely exceed the poromo 1 GB and have only once passed 2 GB...when cable was out and I had to watch a NY Giants game on my phone.

We use WiFi whenever possible, and nobody uses streaming music services on their phone (I play music frequently but use resident files).

If you're not near WiFi, even if you don't stream, things like Facebook and especially uploading pics can eat up data quickly.

I think the answer to your question lies in what you can live with and without, and how often you can be on WiFi instead of using your data.

That's such a subjective question. I am still grandpa'd into the unlimited data plan but I only go through about 3 gb/month at this point. Barely touch my phone at work and have wifi at home. I essentially only use data when streaming music/podcasts, using Waze, and Instagram.

Like KPMcLave said, photo uploads will juice your data over 4g. If you auto-save your photos to G+ or other service, you can change the settings so that the photos will be backed up only when you are on wifi. I do that with Flickr right now to save on battery. I don't want to take photos in a poor coverage area and have the photo working overtime to upload a bunch of pics on a weak signal.

If you don't have WiFi and you are always on social networks the 10 gig plan is the best ,plus if you sign up for the early edge you get a great discount on your device payments . me and my wife share 3 gigs but we are always on WiFi. Good luck and have fun.
