Need some serious help. Phone no longer has "phone" available.

Background:
So my contacts stopped syncing apparently two weeks ago and it just shows the "Sync is having problems with Google server, try again later" message, which is extremely unhelpful and not true in most cases.

Problem:
However, with the new Google Play, I couldn't figure out how to log out and back into my account so instead of completely removing the account, I force stopped and disabled the people app. Well it disappeared, and took the phone app with it.

Help!:
How do I get them back? They aren't in the Play Store.

Thanks. I finally found the disabled people app at the bottom of my all apps list so got my "phone" back. Funny thing was I could use any "direct dial" shortcuts I'd set up, but that was it.

Will try reinstalling Google Play and see if that gets my contacts to start syncing again. Thanks for the apk.

Go to settings apps and all and find the peopele app or contact app and delte the data and cache and force stop resync . it will solve your problem but it will only sync those app that are backed app before people app stoped working
