Need the mr1 ruu

I want to flash my phone to stock, but whenever I look for a download link to this ruu, I am redirected to some demand petition called "The internet vs. Hollywood"

A cursory search I don't see any downloads for MR1. That's a very old version anyway. I'd try one of these instead:

I'm aware, but unfortunately I can't use the program, because I can't enable USB debugging, my phone's stuck in a loop.

The capacitive buttons on my tbolt quit working, and I couldn't get my phone to connect to USB. I needed to unroot, and return to stock. Every link I tried for the RUU was dead.

Go to Play Store and download HTC Thunderbolt Restore. It is $1.99 and worth much more. This app will unroot, S-on, and return you to stock. Then your phone will start downloading all of the updates if you want it to.

Looks like those are the old Multiupload.com links that are getting redirected because Multiupload was shutdown a while back. Below are the direct links hosted on Minus.com:

•After downloading the RUU, rename it to "PG05IMG.zip" Note: If you're doing this from a Windows machine, make sure you don't rename the file "PG05IMG.zip.zip," as Windows hides known file extensions by default.
•Drop the file on the root of the SD Card
•Turn off your device
•Hold Volume Down + Power to reboot into the bootloader -- the file should automatically be detected and the flashing process will begin.
•Wait for your device to complete the process and reboot
