Need to re-root after OTA updates

If I root my S6 phone, do I need to "re-root" my S6 after receiving an OTA (over-the-air update)?
Or is root basically fixed once done.

you cannot receive OTA's when rooted, if you want to take the OTA, you need to unroot, then root again AFTER there is an updated root for the new software version. unfortunately, its not as easy as taking OTA's and just rerooting
