Hey, My case around the speakers has cracked, I want to send this thing back to HP and get a new case under warranty. Now my question is, how do I remove all the android files off my touchpad so they can't say i'm voiding the warranty.

I'm no expert but I think there is an app in preware that completely removes Android. Don't know what it's called though unfortunately.

It called Android removal. But it doen't remove android created file folders. So still you have traces in harddrive. Best, just WebOsDoctor or completely wipe it through device info and reset option and then when it ask for your login. Don't do login. So it will not do any backup from HP website and you are done. Your HP touchpad will be as nice as was came in box.

Thank you, i will make a video for everyone onb how to do this!

I sent mine back on Wednesday. I used the ACMEUninstaller to uninstall Android. Then in webOS did a complete wiper of the USB drive and user data and apps so when you turn it on it's basically the way i received it, asking you to sign up. I sent it in that way. They are still able to check the serial and product number etc on the start up page.

Hello OhMyTVC

Can you please update community about your touchpad status. How it worked at Hp level after cleaned wipe and sent back?

Did they consider as a cover under warranty or void of warranty due to android traces they find in hidden files which we can not wipe them.
