I previously had the Galaxy Tab and used Adilko reader as my ebook reader for DRM epub books I rented from the library and purchased from a website. Then I exchanged the Tab for the Xoom. I believe a smart move as I love the Xoom but the one thing I bought a tablet for was to read my ebooks. The only program I found to open these DRM epub books, when I had the Tab, was the Adilko reader. But Adilko will only use ebooks from the SD card. Since the SD card isn't operational on the Xoom , I'm not able to put these ebooks on my Xoom.
Any one using DRM epubs with any other program with the Xoom? Or does anyone have a way to transfer the books so that you can read them on the Xoom with it's book reader?
Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated.

Yeah it's confusing I don't know why it says ''SD slot'', you can in fact play any epub from aldiko.

Thanks for the response

I think I either am doing something wrong or maybe its the websites. I get books from my local library and Christianbook.com. They have to be opened in Adobe Digital Edition. That is the only way to open them. With the Tab (and my mom's ebook reader) when you use the usb to hook it up to computer Adobe Digital Edition sees it as a hard drive. For some reason it does not see the Xoom at all. Once it sees it as a hard drive then you have to drag it to the hard drive. Then Adilko will open it.
I did not see with the Xoom anywhere to choose "charge" or to "USB Storage" choices. Am I missing something.
I shoudl have explained that part as that is the problem. I've tried dragging these files to the Xoom manually but then the only way Adilko will pick them up is by an SD card. When I tell it to import books, the Adilko program tells me there is no SD card installed.
Any thoughts on that or a way to get around that. I tried the Nook, Kindle, txtr, Kobo, ReplicGo reader, ePDF Reader, Moon Reader, and the native book reader (whick I love). None of them will find these kinds of files.,
Thanks for all the great responses. I appreciate it.,

...so when you go to aldiko homescreen and click the "SD card" icon it does not show you every folder/subfolder on your xoom like it does on mine?

Xoom folders

When I plug my Xoom into my computer in my "My Computer" directory, the Xoom shows up as a hard drive named "Xoom". Then under Xoom is a sub-folder named "device storage".
But if I open Adobe Digital Reader the Xoom will not show up as a hard drive. My Tab showed up as a hard drive when connected and so does my mom's no name ereader. I assumed it was because there is no SD Card, but it must have something to do with the file structure that Motorola created or Honeycomb..
The Adilko reader will only import books from a sd card and it tells me there is no sd card installed. So I just don't know what to do about being able to read books.
I'm just hoping that someone here has figured out a way to read library books (DRM epub) books on the Xoom. Also I start college next week and they said some of the books could be purchased through ebooks. Someone said they thought those were also epub but wasn't sure if they were DRM or not so hoping to get this figured out soon.
Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it. Just hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
