Need your help guys :)

Hey guys. For some strange reason i can no longer change my lockscreen wallpaper or the clock? I can make changes to the homescreen without any issues but it seems as if the lockscreen is defaulting to whatever i have on the homescreen!! If i go into themes and edit my current theme, the options are there and it appears to work fine in the sense that i can choose a lockscreen wallpaper and it says "wallpaper applied" and even shows as changed within the theme but it changes nothing! The only thing i can change on the lockscreen is the icons! This seems a bit odd given that i have gone through all the htc related apps and none have been updated nor have any changes been made! A reboot also was of no help nor was clearing the cache!

My flashlight no longer works either (although i never really used it so its possible it was like this since new) In order for it to work i have to open the camera app and close it each time i want to use the flashlight!!

Anyone any ideas?? More annoyed about the lockscreen issue then the flashlight

Are you just trying the walls from the Sense theme selection? How about trying a pic from your collection. Does it do the same thing?
Also the flashlight being tied to the camera flash does that cam flash still work?

The camera flash works perfect! I just cant use the flashlight through quick settings or the stand alone app unless i open the camera and close it before trying to use the flashlight!!

With regards the lockscreen wallpaper! There is no way to set a lock screen wallpaper other then through 'edit current theme' When i choose the wallpaper i want to use it says 'wallpaper applied' and the image appears to have changed from within the theme app but in fact it hasnt changed. If i change the homescreen wallpaper then that changes no problem and the lockscreen then changes aswell to the same image! The same thing happens if i try and change the clock but icons etc work fine! I cannot figure it out at all!! Nothing has changed! I have gone through all my settings! Its just really weird that this pretty much happened out of the blue

Make sure your flashlight app is enabled in app manager. Maybe force stop it to try and jump start it back to life.
I just tried setting a wallpaper from a pic I had saved and it went right to home screen with no option to lock screen. Sorry, must be thinking of my iPhone. Might be a store app for lock screen wallpaper changing. if all else fails you can always try a 3rd party launcher for all the options they have.

Tried that wth the flashlight app... no joy!

Yes the lockscreen wallpaper must be changed from the themes app but as of now i can only change the homescreen! Hopefully it fixes itself because i have tried EVERYTHING ha

Ha, just noticed my lockscreen wallpaper is from when I last changed it in the sense UI. Seems a no brainer and a nice option to have the option to set a pic in either screen. I mean Apple let's you do this. Interestingly tho I usually use one of my 3rd party launchers and not sense but the sense lockscreen carries over.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again? I find these phones need a refresh every week or 2.

Tried everything! I have cleared cache/data on any htc related applications, I have done reboots etc Only thing i have yet to do is a factory reset which iam reluctant to do as the issue is not bothersome enough to warrant a reset just yet!! I seem to be the only person that has experienced this though so its very strange!! All i wanna do is change my lockscreen wallpaper and clock.... why must it be so difficult haha Damn you HTC

I remember having that issue too once now that I think about it. I was trying to load a picture and it just wasnt working. I think I tried a different pic and it worked. Maybe there's a size limit or something?
