Nerves shot, 4g to edge

I can't stand it. Where I live my Vivid keeps jumping back on forth from 4 g to edge. Can't do anything.

Get great 4g in town. At our house I get one bar maybe on 4g then the signal bounces back and forth to edge. No 3g which picked up great with my iPhone4. It continually jumps back and forth trying to connect to 4g, pages won't load. Is it possible to turn off connecting to 4g?

If u replace the sim card with a non 4g sim card then it won't connect to 4g but that wastes one of the best features about the vivid.

Sometimes, the towers may not extend to your house, in any case, just get WiFi for your home.
