nesoid + wiimote

Let me just say... this phone plays N64 EXTREMELY well. lol

In other news there is a noticable lag (particularly with input) when playing nesoid/snesoid over hdmi mirroring.. I have to set the frame skip in these emulators to 3-4ish to help minimize the issue but its noticeable still. N64oid runs pretty much without a hiccup over HDMI - how weird.

Where can you download Nesoid? Its not on the Marketplace and I went to their website and hit download, but nothing happens.

I noticed this as well on my 720p 60" plasma. When i played via the lapdock at the phone resolution full screen it wad fine :)

EDIT: forgot to specify ... the lag didnt seem to be related to the sixaxis input, it seemed to be because of mirroring the display though im not 100% on that.

So, I know with my lapdock when I plug the phone in, its not doing 'mirror mode'. The screen on the phone shuts off and the Webtop app fires up on the lapdock. This must be why its not working cleanly ok on my TV, the mirroring. Does anyone have any idea how to hook up the phone to at TV and NOT display the video on the Phone at the same time? I suppose the $30 webtop adapter would do it, or maybe I could do that 'webtop enable' trick i heard about on the Atrix forums, though it'd be nice if there was a way, like on a laptop, where you could do 'mirrored', 'just on phone', or 'just on TV' while plugged into HDMI.

Hey, I have N64oid on my bionic (rooted) and I need a controller. I don't have a ps3 controller lying around, but i do have a wiimote. Does wiimote work if rooted, or anyone know if it will anytime soon?

If the only working controller is a ps3 controller, where should i buy one? I dont want to spend much, and would only use it for my android, but i want it too work. I've heard terrible reviews on all the fake ones desyncing and stuff, but the only ones offered on the sony site are $50 dualshock 3, when i only really need a simple 6axis without vibration.

Any help?

get em on amazon, they're reasonably priced.

could you be a little more specific about which to buy? I see alot price around 20-25 USD but they dont even have sony logos on them. A few have sony logos around 30 USD, but I've heard alot of those are fake as well. I honestly don't care if its fake or real, as long as it works with my android n64 emulator so i can play SSB64 on my phone!!!

Anyone else willing to paypal some money for a solution to the wiimote problem? I'm not talking a fortune, but $5 or $10 for sure.

We need some financial encouragement for the devs out there.

I would be more than happy to throw in $5 to get the Wiimote working on the bionic! Let them know there's money in this if they can get it working :)

Edit: I joined this forum just to throw that in so very serious haha

Lol I hate that this problem still hasn't been resolved yet. I've talked with the developer of Bluez IME and WiimoteController and they both say that they could resolve it for rooted users, but haven't implemented it into the app yet.
EDIT: technically this could be fixed by installing CyanogenMod, or so I've heard. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. So far I've been able to get this to work with N64oid by using it's in-app IME.

Wow, that is pretty ironc... I just tried it again for the first time since I made this post on Sunday. I was hoping something was updated, but no luck.

Although I noticed that I could use my wiimote to scroll through the roms in NESoid but they are still unplayable. Other emulators didn't work either.

I wish they would send out the update for us rooted users.

If you install something non-blur based like CyanogenMod then it works, I tried it with the CM9 based ICS4Bionic and it ran flawlessly.
