Im currently testing the Interactive governor kernel with more aggressive undervolting.

im very please so far, battery doesn't move.

What is the difference between more aggressive and less aggressive undervolting and CFS and BFS? I read the PDF on this subject but I am looking for a simpler answer. As I understand one saves more battery and one is better for performance, correct?

Go check out the battery tweak thread over at XDA...a lot of people are getting it to work for them!! :)

I will be testing all of these over the next week guys. Look for my kernel comparison thread on tuesday for stats on the first kernel. I'll be pushing the Evo to it's limits with these.

Just in case anyone was interested or was hoping someone will.

I will be benchmarking these for myself, and you guys.

Bfs/cfs are different kernel schedulers. Theoretically bfs is more efficient. More aggressive should be better on battery.

what he said^

i heard theres a new kernel coming out thats supposed to be super stable and the best kernel available... i just haven't figured out how to make a kernel yet

I don't know if it is just my phone but when I use netarchy's kernel my phone get's stuck in sleep mode ALOT.

I put my phone on the charger last night and woke up this morning and the LED was green (fully charged). I took the phone off the USB cable and it wouldnt screen on when I pushed the power button and the green light stayed on. had to pull battery.

last night I had laid the phone down and was watching TV. I picked it up like 20min later and pushed the power button and again no response.

I thought it was setCPU so I removed it and tested again. Has done this to me with both netarchy's kernels...

did you ever get this figured out?

i love these kernels... they've been stellar performers during my benchmarks. they've worked so well i've not wanted to change from the one i'm currently on (havs-more-smartass)

This kernel with Myn's rls3 has been by far the best performance and battery life out of any combo I have used so far. I went 6 hours this morning with 3 20 minute calls. Was using fring the entire time and I only used up 10%. I also have two exchange accounts syncing one using the default email app and the other using touchdown. It's an awesome combo.
