netflix for thrive?

they say it doesnt work, but i just downloaded and installed the apk and its working fine..
any reason they are trying to hide it from us on the market?

On my Thrive, the colors are messed up--like an old color newspaper with misaligned color plates.
I'll try again soon to see if there is a newer version.

Yeah mine has audio issues, tried downloaded a version of it for 2.2 phones and i've come to realize that the netflix app was designed for 2.3 phones, now i've run into an update issue.. i try to update the phone and it pops up and says 'invalid software package' after downloading the update.. trying to find a way to bypass it.. no luck so far.. :'(

Fyi... You can just download from Market now..
Can't attest to how well it works, since I don't have enough free storage on my Thrive.

Yeah i can relate, that's probably the only reason why i rooted my phone, and the block removal for us is gone i just noticed that, this was posted before that, and its just like the G2x, and the Optimus S, and LG Thrill, the video lags that causes audio de-sync.. but the video quality its self is decent after it has had time to buffer, maybe someone will come up with a fix for this.. :'(

I installed the version for 2.2 and it lags horribly on the Phoenix. Its completely unwatchable. Seems to me that netflix could do something about that being that youtube streams perfectly.

Yeah the version for 2.2 on the thrive works, the audio syncs up but the video quality is crap because the colors are displaced.. so i'm doubting it will work until Netflix actually fixes it themselves, or someone comes up with a fix.. :'(

You can find the app by searching for the .apk but to your disappointment none of the versions work correctly.. it's either audio sync failure, or color displacement(as aforementioned in this post.)
also you should just be able to go to the app store and download it, but if that isn't working for you get apk installer from the market to install the apps (if you downloaded it with your phone they will be in the downloads folder) remember to turn the unknown apps test on from your phones hidden menu.
