Netflix glitch/freezing

I specifically bought a bigger phone to watch Netflix and youtube. I'm very frustrated with this and hope it gets resolved quickly. Tmobile note 4 here. Netflix will work for 45 seconds then freeze video but audio works. Most annoying thing ever!
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall it?

Yes many times now. I haven't tried a factory reset. But I've tried clearing cache and everything. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes I have. And it stopped for awhile. But is happening again. I have tried everything. This is really frustrating. I bought the phone to watch netflix. And I can't even do that. SMH

Same problem here as of 3/5/15. I just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and all software is updated. I use it when I workout on my treadmill. Very annoying when you have to rewatch a scene when the video freezes and the audio keeps playing.

So far everything that i read in here it seems like a tmob, verizon and sprint issue, att seems to be non existant to the issue, I have an edge on att, ill check out the netflix and see if i got any issues, thank you for letting me know.

Heavy Netflix/YouTube user on my Note 4 with no such playback problems... but then, mine is the Exynos N910C (Brasil)

Try logging in website and setting your streaming to low, that seemed to fix it for me... but i have been having this issue to Ed.

I'm also having the issue with Netflix only. Google Play Movies and YouTube work fine though.

I have the Verizon variant.

I use my mobile data for everything YouTube and Netflix (unlimited from T-Mobile, so why not?) that is when it usually occurs, about 15-20 minutes into a TV episode, never have had this issue with YouTube. I hit the 30 second rewind and that fixes the issue but it happens in every episode of whatever I am watching.

Haven't tried emptying the cache or anything....

Yes, mine is doing that all the time. I have to pause the Netflix plaYBACK AND THEN START IT AGAIN AFTER SAY A MINUTE, BUT THEN IT DOES IT AGAIN A FEW MINUTES LATER. Did you find a solution? i bought my phone about the same time as you. Bruce

I solved it by disabling my mobile data and only connecting to wi-fi.

I think the problem is that my service provider is blocking Netflix and some how my phone doesn't give priority to my Wi-Fi connection. So, even though I was connected to my Wi-fi and Data Network, Netflix would still freeze after a few seconds. Once I disabled my mobile data and connectes only to Wi_fi, Netflix streamed perfectly.
