Does anyone have a Netflix HD app like the previous one ported to the GN a while back, but for 4.0.4? If that's even been ported yet?
When I try to use that one it doesn't work on 4.0.4. I would love to watch HD Netflix on this screen while hiding the navigation buttons. Full screen HD goodness.

I dont understand.

The original Netflix app transmits video in fullscreen HD if available for the movie/show you are watching. You shouldnt need a hacked app to do this.

If you are trying it on 3g, thats your problem, not the app. Otherwise 4g and wifi should work fine.

EDIT: Apparently after a little reading the Netflix app in the market DOESNT do hd? That's news to me, it sure looks good enough to be HD. So I guess I cant help you, sorry. But if you happen to find one to side load please link me, I'd love to see the difference.

I believe the HD version was released with/for the Razr, which makes no sense since it is only qHD. Why they haven't updated the app to transmit 720p video for supported phones is beyond me. Beyond most of us. Beyond logic, really.

I have only seen it ported over for 4.0.2 and that was still not quite right.
If you find something please post it and i shall do the same.

With all of the new phones having a 720p display, i cant believe it would take Netflix much longer to make HD streaming its standard.

I wasn't aware that Netflix HD wouldn't work with 4.0.4. The difference between the non HD and HD version is definitely noticeable and I wish they'd hurry up and release it officially.
I had to switch back to non HD because the on screen buttons annoyed me after a while.

I'd like to see the Netflix HD app. I've used the standard app and the quality doesn't bother me. Other video apps like slingbox look worse than netflix and hbogo. If the netflix hd looks like hd youtube videos I'd want it.
