I have their highest plan. I can see HDR using this latest apk, but not 4K. 4k videos are still listed as "HD" .
Do you have to upgrade your Netflix account?

Ohhhh. Me either. I still get HD which is great for a phone. You have to upgrade ( read, pay more) to have 4k and HDR streaming on Netflix. You can also have 4 simultaneous streams versus 2. I believe it's an extra 4 or 5 bucks a month? Not sure, I have no 4k TVs and in not paying more money just for HDR in my phone.

I was already on their highest listed plan. 4 screens, shows HDR, shows 4K on my 4K TV.Do you have to upgrade your Netflix account?

I just watched an ad on YouTube for the phone. Well done ad, I'll add. At the end, it mentions 6 months of free Netflix. Looks like it applies to current accounts. But it also looks like it is not the HDR plan.
Check it out.

The 6 months i staking in consideration the $9.99/month plan, by experience I can tell you that Netflix just make a credit for the $59.94 to your account, so if you stay with the normal $9.99 plan you will have 6 month free, if you upgrade to the 4k/HDR $11.99/month plan, then you will have 5 months free.
Not false advertisement they even added all the detailed information on the small letters.
