Netflix now works on the G-Slate

I have been using it for the last weekend have been quite pleased. It seems that the G-Slate is somewhat ignored but glad to see this working.

XDA has a apk that kinda hides the fact that your on a g-slate. Works for me. I can watch netflix. Not in HD though.

I downoaded it just fine but it won't play anything, tells me it can't locate the netflix server or something like that. Also tells me there is an update and asks if I want to download it, takes me to the marketplace, but alas no update offered. I'm assuming this is because they released it to all the oter android versions recently. Any other ideas?:'(

Have you updated your slate to 3.1? If so, that broke the ability for Netflix to run.

Also the url above may link to an outdated version of Netflix where it requires an update to function. The reason it doesn't link to the app in the market is because it isn't a supported application for the g-slate.

Option b: 3.1 updates and fixes..


I'll have netflix please. Any way to roll back the 3.1 update? Will a master restet do it?

Not a way that I've seen. LG locked the device down with the update.
