I installed the no-device-check netflix app from the guys over at xda and so far so good for my X2. At first it didn't want to load correctly but after a couple trys it opens and runs fine now. The video quality isn't the best, even on wifi, but I'm guessing that's how everyones is.

I just loaded it on my DX1 and its great! The picture get better after a couple of minutes. Thanks for the link...Oh i was also just running on 3g i will try wifi when i get home.

Same thing, it took a couple of trys to get it downloaded but once it did, it works great. Tried a movie as well as TV shows. Awesome. Thanks for the help!!!!

I need the same help above. I just received an X2 as a replacement to my malfunctioning X sent by the assurion people. I had been able to find the Netflix app in the market and download it to the other droid X without a problem. Now I get this X2 and its like the damned app. just disappeared or isnt available for the X2? I cant find it on the market anywhere, I called Verizon just for giggles and those idiots told me they dont support apps. nor should I download them, I replied with "why buy the damn phone like this then?" with no resonable response of course. With that said, how do I download the apk. ya'll are talking about and move it over to the X2? Thanks for any help.

Still not in the market on my end? I ended up rooting and through ASTRO managed to load the Netflix app on my X2. Except for saying there is an update available each time I open it, and then saying the update is not available when I try it seems to be working great.

Is there no one who can help us new guys with netflix ? We have to learn from someone in the forum, or direct us to where we should look.

Wont have to worry about it much longer, Ill be gladly telling Netflix where to shove their business as soon as they hike their prices on Sept. 1st!! I hope this belly ups those greedy pieces of s--t!!

+1 I hope they lose enough customers to make them feel it... painfully.

Works like a charm! The quality over my wiring is very good. I've yet to try it on 3g though.
