Netflix

Netflix seems to be very picky as to which phones receive the privileges to receive the app. Last time I checked, they didnt have an AT&T phone on there yet...maybe they just dont like AT&T.

I meant AT&T android phone. It's been on the iPhone for quite sometime, becasue it is a iOS which is pretty secure. Netflix is worried about consequences of putting it on an open network like android so they are developing the app for each phone.

GAHH! I found a netflix apk that works right up until it tries to stream whatever it is i want to watch! God so close and yet so far!!! /rageface

So as a update I called Netflix and they have no dates on to when it will be on the Infuse. She said it is one android phone a month and if they can do two they will because of copyright issue. The more people request it though, it can help in getting Netflix on our sweet screen. :p

well I can VNC or splash remote to my PC that can then play a netflix movie. But its not the same....

please, was very disappointed when coming from an iphone and using it all the time. And now i can't on my brand new infuse with a big a$$ screen. Especially now since there raising all there prices next month and separating the instant from the dvd queue. Chop chop netflix or we won't renew our instant

So, I'm assuming it hasn't been released for the 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab? I'm on 2.2 and I can't find it in the market :(

Do you rip them to .avi or .mp4? I will give it a shot. I love watching movies on my phone. The video looks incredible on this phone btw.

You don't have to rip anything. I often download torrents ra5her than rip my DVDs because of how easy it is. Samsung phones are the only Android phones that can play just about any format or codec through the hardware video decoding. I play regularly, MKVs, AVIs, M4Vs, and others. No need to convert. In fact, you can download directly to your phone with atorrent from the market.
