Network connection?

Sitting at home at my table with the s10e, was set at global with -112dbm. Set it to LTE/cdma and was at -87dbm. I always thought global was the best setting. BTW I have verizon in Illinois. I have always said that my note 9 had better LTE connections than both my 10 series, however never changed the 9. THOUGHTS?

LTE/CDMA is the setting that Verizon set for me.
As for if it's better/worse, not sure. I haven't had a Note 9 to know.
