Network Error

I live in Greenville, SC. All of a sudden, I can't place or receive calls. When I try to make a call, I get a fast busy signal and an error message: The network is busy. Please try again later. After calling CS and doing a phone reset (back to factory settings), I'm still having the same problem. Sprint is researching and will call me back. In the meantime, I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Interesting. I'm having this same problem on my Thunderbolt all of a sudden.
 
It could be a few things, either the tower in your area is down ( they should have checked) or you radio is not working and that is in the phone. And the easiest solution try updating your profile and prl.
 
I live in Myrtle Beach and I started having this problem since updating to GB. My wife's evo also does the same thing. Anyone else having this problem?

It's happening all over. I'm in Chicago....60601. Whether it's in my office...my house...or walking outside, 3G is just crap right now. Error messages, radio this and that, random reboots every time the damn thing gets a little workload and gets a little warm. Gingerbread my butt. And as for the network? HEY Sprint...I've been with you forever and a freakin' day! I don't mind that you're using bear skins and stone knives or that you're clearly slower than most. I like the fact that I didn't USED to drop calls like AT&T. The fact that my plan was a good value.

BUT NOW YOU'RE BEGINNING TO PISS ME OFF!

Oh...and I of course have already went through everything hardware wise...and they've hit the phone, re-provisioned, updated everything but my hairstyle. No joy on the stable operating platform and as for the network......REALLY???????????????????????????????

I have been thru the same thing. Wasted day with customer service then advanced tech support. No problems that they could find. I have 4 bars right now and can't make a simple phone call. What that heck is going on with sprint???
 
I was having these issues yesterday in the St Louis area, I thought I had jacked something up while messing around with different roms and once I switched back to CM7 it worked. Not sure if it was the rom issues or if signal just decided to come back to the area.
 
In Philly and getting "Data Call Failure Error Code 67. Unable to establish wireless data connection"
 
I just went back to the stock 2.2 ROM. So far, I am not having any of the network error problems that I was having with GB. I am going to wait a couple of days to see if the problems that I was having after updating to GB. I will let you know.
 
After a 1 hour call to sprint and another 1 hour call to advanced support, all I have been told is that there isn't any problems with the network in Myrtle Beach area and nothing is wrong with my phone. News flash to sprint: If I can't make and receive calls with my phone, there is a problem!! I love my evo and would hate to loose it but another network is looking good right about now. Does anyone else have the same problem? If so, where do you live? I have about had it with Sprint!!
 
I have been having sporadic problems this week on an EVO 3D in Bellingham, WA and am just starting to try figuring out what's gone wrong... good luck!

I had a similar conversation with a support person telling me that I have wonderful coverage. Tell that to my phone because it now roams constantly or I have zero bars! I'm leaving Sprint myself. I too am happy with my EVO but Sprint's network is crap around where I live. 4G? I'm lucky if I can sniff out a Sprint signal... :mad: It wasn't this bad when I first signed up with them.

I did, however. roll back to the stock 2.2 ROM and continued to have the same problems. My daughter has the same problem with her Blackberry 9650 so that leads me to beleive that it is Sprint's network. I am giving them until September to get things fixed and then I might take my 2 family plans with me to another carrier. So much for 11 years with Sprint!

I just got back from the Verizon store. I pulled the trigger on a Droid Pro and should have it early next week. I really enjoyed my EVO but Sprint's network quality has become a major issue for me. My phone is either roaming or has no signal most of the day. It's not the phone because I had it checked out at a Sprint store and it works fine in known good signal areas, there just aren't very many good signal areas any more. Tata Sprint...
 
yes, i am from mumbai and i have HTC EVO 4G from sprint and the network is not working at all ,,,,i cant make any calls or receive and everything is working fine but network has gone and i dont know what to do ,,,its a new brand mobile used for only 2 months...what to do ,,,,,,can u plz help me....
