network issues? nonstop switching among 4G/3G/1x

is anyone else having this issue today? i think it may be localized to my area but i want to know if this is affecting others. since this morning my phone has been switching in and out from LTE to 3G, sometimes down to 1x. it's now stuck on 1x. i tried rebooting and changing the toggle menu. still the same.

i'm in the flatiron area of midtown manhattan nyc, new york.

Up in Fargo I have notived my 3G disappear briefly throughout the day, but it doesn't appear to affect the calls/network. It may just be a consmetic issue and not necessarily hardware/software issue.

I have not installed or been able to install the new update fyi...

have you tried a speedtest to see if it is , as Klobius suggested, a cosmetic issue?

Did you apply the recent update?

The update fried my phone and I couldn't even pick up 4G and was constantly losing 3G. Received a replacement today and it's back to full time 4G for me.

im rooted and custom ROM'd running BAMF GingerRemix 2.1. it's been running fine network-wise. I'm about to head home so i'd know for sure if it was my local tower here at work giving me troubles.

No issues in upstate ny. As others have pointed out have u applied the last update as it was to help resolve this issue.
