What would be the furthest I could safely upgrade to on my Note 3 and still run everyday tasks ok...I`m on lollipop at the moment,could I root to say Nougat and still run smoothly?Thanks,David

In all my research on the Note3-Lollipop bugs (and there solutions) I have so far not heard of any Note3 going beyond Lllipp. The way I see it, Note3 is too much of a legacy device to bear Marshmallow or Nougat even though is hardware might accommodate either (storage space, RAM and CPU). I'm still waiting to hear of anyone who has done so without having bugs...like the "GPS-not-locking-on-to-signals" bug that currently plagues Note3-Lollipop users (including myself). Do you want to try?
I'm about to flash my Note3 and return 4.3 into it so I can resume using my GPS.

Ok, thanks for your prompt reply. I have my Note 3 in my "unused tech drawer", pretty much wasting away and thought it a good idea to try and upgrade it to Marshmallow or Nougat. I'd rather have it as a useable spare phone than a glitchy unit. Cheers, David
