Anyone see this! Glad big red decided to have a middle plan between 8 and 16gb.

Yeah it was so they could claim 4 lines, 20gb for $160 and compare to tmobile

I moved over to this (single line)...I can always go back to the 8 gig which I don't see going anywhere any time soon, and this 12-gig plan will also allow you to bring over the promotional 2-gigs of data that I got when activating the Note 7. So the 12-gig is really a 14 gig plan for me. 4 extra gigs for another $10 seems o.k. to me (but I do also get a discount which helps sweeten the deal).

Dang just went on on and noticed this plan. When i got my note 7, I was on the 10gb plan and wanted more data so i had to get the 16 +2 plan. There was nothing between 10 and the 16gb plans.

This is perfect for me. 12+2 =me

Can't you change to the lower data plan anytime you want to make a change?

You can change between them but if you go below the 8 gig plan you lose the "bonus" 2 gigs. So you can move around between 8 - 16 (and whatever might be higher than that?) and keep your 2 gig bonus. The 12 gig plan doesn't appear to be part of their "usual" lineup...it doesn't have a label like the others (large, X Large)...so that's why some think it might not be around as part of their regular lineup for the long term.

I think the 12 gig plan must come and go....or they automatically "upgraded" my boyfriend because he had it when we switched his phone the other day and he's been telling me he has the 10 gig plan for a long time now. I think when the 10 gig went away they must have moved him to 12 (maybe it was the same $ amount).

I never thought I'd say this...but I'm glad that VZW isn't pulling what T-Mobile and Sprint are pulling. I was listening to a podcast the other day and after all the add ons you'd have to pay for high speed tethering and HD content they become ridiculously MORE expensive (at least for a single line they do). I like that I can decide how to use my data...if I want movies at 1080 I stream 1080...if I want to save some date I can dial it back to 420. And I like that the ENTIRE 12 gigs is available to me as tethering if that's how I want to use it. I hope they don't jump on board with this fake unlimited crap from T-Mobile and Sprint.

Yes, I think the 12GB plan is for a limited time.....although I don't know how limited.
Most likely Verizon would let you keep the plan indefinitely, but if you make any changes then you might need to move to a current plan
