Stellar Escape, a side scrolling shooter originally .99, is todays free app of the day. And from someone on the east coast dealing with Hurricane Irene, please stay safe.
 
dxTop Pro: Home Alternative, originally $2.99, is todays free app. Only the second home replacement app, the other being Wave Launcher. Looks interesting.
 
Today, that free paid app is Swamp Defense, originally .99 in the AppStore. Another tower defense game.
 
All of a sudden I can't download the free app, it says to set a payment methods in one click settings, but the credit card I have there doesn't expire for two years, what gives?

Checkbook, originally $1.99, its todays free app. This is a must have app if you need to balance your budget.

Samething happened to me first time today trying to get the free checkbook app. I just went tho the instructions even tho I already had a credit card assigned to amazon.It then went tho and allowed me to download the checkbook app .
BTW as a side note I dont use a regular credit card I use a preloaded type credit card so it has a limited amount of money thats in that account usually around 50 bucks .;)
 
seekDroid, originally .99, is todays free app. It helps you find your missing phone. I have Lookout Mobile, so I don't need it. But I know someone that has it and it is a good app.
 
Camera Fun Pro, originally .99, it's todays free app. 2 camera apps in 1 week? Amazon must be feeling good!

This might seem like an odd question. I know that if you have to wipe your phone, you can redownload the free paid apps you previously got once it's all set up. The question I have is that there are some apps that I have gotten from the free paid app of the day and are no longer available on the AppStore. Is there a way to redownload those apps?

Spin Balls, originally $2.49, is todays free app. Looks good. Its a puzzle game.
 
Elecont Weather, originally $3, its todays free app. This looks like a very detailed weather app. I will give it a try. It does always and also earthquake warnings, too. Intriguing.

When you open up the amazon app store then push menu button>Then select my apps> on the tabs that show on top make sure you select "all" and all your apps paid or free should show in the list
