New Android Auto Calendar Question

[Android Central Question]

I have the new Android Auto now. On the old UI, I had calendar tabs that I could simply click to navigate to where I was going. On the new UI, I don't see an easy way to navigate to my appointments. Any thoughts on this? The fix right now is that I start the navigation on my phone and then open Android Auto.

I had an AC account before, but was just too lazy to create a new account. Would take any help on the Android Auto issue.
