New Android GS4 User. How to get emojis on Instagram

The messaging on s4. I tried a lot of emojis and keyboard but every time I send the message it says the message will be corrupted change the input to automatic. I did. And stilll the same

hmmm thats strange....try using Go sms or hadncent messaging apps and make sure you have the emoji plug-ins installed for them as well

open up messaging, hit menu, then settings, scroll down (under text message settings) select input mode & change to "automatic". see if that helps

Just switched to the S4 after a lifetime of BBs so forgive me if this was already answered in this thread & I missed it..is there an emoji app or plug-in to work on Instagram with the Swift Key keyboard? TIA

Mom swift key.... U need Kii keyboard along with hand cent SMS emoji plug in

hi all,

i downloaded A.I.type Keyboard Free with the plug-in and I can not see the emojis except in the preview mode. It seems strange that an s4 would not be a supported device. Is this something that is usually fixed in updates or am i just missing something? I'm an android newbie so please forgive if this is a simpleton question.

Will this work in text messaging as well as in social media sites. That's the issue I'm having. Most of the keyboards I've downloaded will work with one but not the other.I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3. I am currently using the Handcent SMS app for texting and the multiling keyboard for social media sites. I found that when I used just the multiling keyboard the emoji's wouldn't show up in my texts so I added the Handcent SMS app for texting purposes. Just as the multiling keyboard emojis wouldn't show up in my text, the handcent app didn't give me emjoi's for social media sites. I'm happy with this set up with the exception being that when I receive a text the pop up takes me in to the multiling keyboard rather than the handcent. So before I am able to respond I have to close out of the multiling and go in to the handcent. (The multiling keyboard has to be set as the default in order to use it in the social media sites.) So I guess I have two questions...1. Is there anyway to make the text notification for multiling not pop up with the text I receive? and 2. If that's not possible is there a keyboard app that will let you send the typical "iPhone" emojis in both text messaging as well as using them in social media sites?

You're yelling reply at the end of your post made me really not want to answer Lol. But use Kii keyboard with the handcent emoji plugin. I've been using it pretty much since I got my s4 and no problems posting emoji anywhere.

I have been using the kii keyboard with the handcent emoji add-on for a while with my S4. All of sudden, within the last few daysI have not been able to see or send anything except squares. Nothing has changed, I didnt delete or download anything new and I havent changed any settings. Any idea why this happened.....I also tried to use SMS go with the plug in and that did not change anything outside of the SMS go app....still cant see anything but squares on Instagram and texts.....I had it working perfectly for months up until the other day.

The only time I can see them anymore is if someone posts an emoji in a reply to a pic on IG and I view it on the NEWS tab...once I go directly back to the pic, its a square.

Any info is greatly appreciated bc I really love using Kii.
