Actually it's an old issue since it's been around since 1.6

AC already has an article up to explain it to the layperson. Really, as long as you are sticking with Google Play, it's really not an issue, but I realize there are tons of other app stores out there (including Amazon).

Good point (about the age). Ugh, didn't realize there was already a thread (sorry, I did search).

Would a scan using Lookout detect the bad code? Lookout scans all my installs and updates.
