New Android User Trying To Stop Auto Updates

@winmod21 yeah I was doing that for awhile, its not always easy and fun to do and sometimes I forget to turn on or off but I was hoping there was an easier way via a setting than a constant routine.

@me just saying good note for others, but I never use my phone to pay. I'm too old school, sometimes still with cash. And I don't want to share my banking data across all platforms, Goog Pay, Apple Pay, Zelle, Sofi, etc., etc., etc.

Banks tell you all is fine but if you keep giving out your bank data to every 3rd party it invites fraud at some point. And for banks to offsight all their call centers to India or Philippines, how does that not invite fraud.

And what moronic gov. compliance official thinks that only your phone number is the only account verification way going forwards since 5 years ago. Like a phone number can't be hacked? Wasn't Sec Marco Rubio's phone hacked just last week?
Amen, and Amen, and Amen, and Amen, Brother ! ✅ 😉👍 👏
I don't do any of that 'online banking' stuff 🙄; never have; never will.

@winmod21 yeah I never been a victim of bank fraud in this new era of because I was once a victim of it back in 2011 before it became so prevalent. I was living in Canada at the time, had no banking apps and someone got a hold of my card info to buy airplane tickets to India which was immediately stopped and rectified.

And I would never go to a [Mod redacted language]country like that anyways. It's the global epicenter of virulent pathogens and a research hub for global pharma pathologists.

That aside, if you don't offer up your information to the public then they can't take it for hostage and ransom. That same reason is to why I don't have Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, etc., etc., etc., I only have Telegram and Gab with no photos. Zuck and Musk gives NSA a backdoor, why offer it to them on a silver platter.

"I also uninstalled updates on Samsung bloatware apps and there are 28 in the Samsung Store."

Hello, how do you go about doing that? I don't see any reference to 'Samsung Store' in Settings > Apps. — Thanks
I will provide more information later.

Hello 👋 my Zdm Services is an Android default setting of some kind, it doesn't have any relation to the Zoom app. I uploaded some attachments.

...can I use this Odin or Frija tool to stop the auto updates on the OS and any app? I have apps updating eventhough I shut all of those down to.

Like you said, my apps are able to update within' this framework regardless of what I do and I hate it. I think my ZTE controls suck and not giving me full functionality. When I google for info, my follow path runs to empty spaces.

Thank you, but I just bought this phone last month and I still haven't figured it out fully yet.

I wish I could say the same with my buy at the moment. I hope to sort this one out.

What is ADB, and would this wash out my installed apps or saved data or saved settings?

Yeah I saw this Oracle program you mentioned but its not that. I attached some screenshots. "custom ROM" ...like a coder building it for me? That could be very pricey.
This is the way I blocked 30 Bloatware updates. I bought this Samsung Galaxy S24+ in Hong Kong. Which can be different to other countries. This phone has the option for 2 SIM cards. No eSim. I went to Galaxy Store clicked on Menu on the bottom right of the screen. Then it opens up, click on settings located on my phone on the top right of the screen. I have set "Auto update apps" to NEVER. same with Auto play videos. There is a website called Android Police and this is where I got a lot of important information from. I have attached a screenshot with a white colour square to more clearly indicate my contribution here, I hope this helps.
