New AT&T update

I just received an update from att. I'm assuming it's a security update.

It is a security update. Hopefully it patches the Wifi and Bluetooth vulnerabilities.

I got it yesterday morning also. AT&T finally updated their support website:
"What's changing: Android device security updates, including fixes for BlueBorne (on SPLs Sept. 1 or later) and KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability."

My one note 8 upgraded but the other still says no updates..

Got it and now wireless charging consistently works again! Was hit and miss prior, would say it was charging but over night barely changed. Now works every night again.

Beta makes more sense. Most companies don't update betas with security patches. They just update in the next build for the beta.
