New battery for my G 13A

I am seeing new batteries sold for this that have 5800 milliamps, about twice what came in the original. There are several vendors with these...I love the idea of having a longer battery life - my phone is 3 years old now, and the battery is getting old.

My question - is it safe? will my phone burn up??

Welcome to Android Central! That's hard to say, since there are a number of factors to consider: quality of the manufacturer, the materials used, and the manufacturing process, to name a few. Who's the manufacturer of the ones you're looking at? If they don't have a good track record (or if you can't find any reliable information about them), I'd probably pass.

What kind of device is this?

Having double the battery capacity being same size? Sounds fishy to me if that could be accomplished manufacturers be all over this .
Wouldn't trust it.
