New battery issue!

installed new battery in my phone and it doesnt charge, if I connect it to laptop, driver issue comes, placed old battery again and all works fine... why m how?? new battery was working fine for like two weeks...

What phone do you have?

Also I would suggest returning the new battery, if you can and trying a new one
