New BQ Aquaris X Pro or second hand OnePlus 3T

Searching for a new phone under €400, max 5.5" IPS day lasting battery with intense business usage, possibly good to experiment with AR.

I like BQ Aquaris X Pro good midrange with Galileo positioning and EU design, for the same price I can also buy a second hand OnePlus 3T.

Not sure about the best for battery life on business usage, the OnePlus will have only an update to Android O vs two updates of the Aquaris, for sure the OnePlus is better in graphics, interested to know some opinions.

Having never had an Android phone I didn't know what's meaning installing a custom ROM.
Is supposed to receive also future security patches and to be compatible with all installed apps, or custom ROMs can prevent me from using standard PlayStore apps?
